Description

Hay Round at Castle Rock – Castle Rock is a prominent geological rock formation in Scotts Bluff County in western Nebraska west of Chimney Rock. Most people in the area don’t know that this promontory is actually named Castle Rock. The promontory can be seen traveling east or west between McGrew and Scottsbluff, Nebraska on HWY 92. This image was made with a 500mm lens looking west from Chimney Rock towards Castle Rock which is why the promontory is exaggerated in the background.

Castle Rock isn’t really known as a landmark today but served as a landmark to the immigrants of the Oregon, California and Mormon Trails in the early to mid 1800’s.

Why FujiFlex?

FujiFlex lightjet printing is a silver halide, true photographic printing material on a polyester base. Sometimes referred to as Fuji Supergloss, the material has an extremely glossy, almost glass like surface resulting in high color saturation, fidelity and depth. Images appear three dimensional, similar in visual characteristic to Ilfochrome (Cibachrome). FujiFlex and Fuji Crystal Archive RC prints are the standard worldwide for photographic fine art printing.
