Ramparts of Static Peak

Hawk Buckman’s Images of Nature
Limited Edition (Landscape)

The detail in this square image of the Ramparts of Static Peak is honestly stunning. The image was created using Kodak T-Max 100 ISO film and pushed 2 stops to render a high contrast scene in which the dark areas of he image retain an amazing amount of detail. Static Peak is in Jackson County, Colorado and  is one of my very favorite places to photograph on Earth.  I spend a great deal of time here throughout the year, wandering the landscape in search of my next image.  This image was made with a Hasselblad 500CM with Zeiss Planar from a high slope near Highway 14 in the dead of winter.

This black and white photograph is custom created with Hahnemuhle FineArt Baryta Satin paper rendering rich blacks, and brilliant whites, and is available in 14X14″ and 24″X24″, 1/4″ white border, limited edition prints.
