My color landscape pictures stand out from other photographers’ work, but they’re not nearly as good as many other pros in the field. Landscape photography is hard. My images are not super bright or overflowing with color, texture, and strong contrast, which makes them uninteresting and boring by most people’s standards.

I believe in creating a photograph as a realistic representation of what was in front of the camera at the moment, not a highly processed graphic. I’ve always been a purist, and I always will be. All of my editing is done in the camera, not on a computer.
